Our family is going on the Spring 2012 voyage of the University of Virginia's Semester at Sea Program. We will be going around the world on the MV Explorer, stopping in (among other places) Brazil, Ghana, South Africa, India, Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Japan. We leave on January 15, 2012, and will return at the beginning of May.

While we are sea, we will be sharing and documenting our experiences on this blog. To the extent possible, the story here will be told from the point of view of Aidan and Maeve, acute observers of the human condition and already well-seasoned travelers.
